Do I need a child theme?

If you are planning to apply heavy code CSS customizations to Eternity theme more than minor CSS adjustments or a simple script such as Google Analytics it’s highly recommended to create a child theme that will inherent the functionality of the parent theme plus it will give you all the editing and modifying power you need without the need of modifying the core theme files directly. As if you do that on the parent theme al the changes you make will be overwritten with the next theme update.Which will be a problem especially if you have already done many changes.
